As a Security Officer - Warehouse - Entry Level in Bensenville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify access credentials when required, and support visitor management processes in accordance with site protocols.
- Assist with observing equipment rooms, common areas, and other sensitive locations for potential security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues, and report findings through appropriate channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
