As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver CRE in Bloomington, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, contributing to a secure environment for everyone onsite. In this armed and driving role, your visible presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activities throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and potential threats.
• Interact professionally with tenants, building staff, and visitors while upholding Allied Universal standards and guidelines.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
• Remain alert and maintain awareness of surroundings during all assigned shifts, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as needed.
• Carry a firearm and maintain all required certifications and training for armed posts, adhering to all applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
