As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Shippingport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by greeting employees, visitors, and contractors at the front desk, following site-specific policies and security-related procedures for a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor access at the reception area by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in records, and communicating entry requirements to authorized personnel and/or guests.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
- Answer phones, direct inquiries, and support front desk operations while documenting daily activity, unusual events, and other security-related information in required logs and reports.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations by maintaining an attentive presence at the front desk and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
