As a Security Officer Driver Area Patrol in Topton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and support visitor and/or vendor processing in accordance with site policies and post orders.
- Assist with incident reporting, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate clearly with supervisors, employees, and/or local responders during routine and critical situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
