As a Security Officer Armed Security Patrol Driver in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating with local management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, office areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, with attention to unusual activity and/or access concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support access control procedures, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations.
- Support cash handling and other high-value movement activity when required by site procedures, maintaining professional presence and following all post orders, firearm protocols, and Allied Universal standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
