As a Security Officer Retail Vehicle Patrol in Canoga Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while responding with agility and reliability to the needs of the location.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a busy retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout shopping areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance, policy, and/or security-related issues.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to assist with crowd management, observe unusual behavior, and support a welcoming environment for guests and retail personnel.
- Communicate with site contacts, local responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, suspicious activity, and daily operations while following post orders and client-directed procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
