What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a corporate technology location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and support lobby and reception processes in alignment with site-specific policies.
- Observe and report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and other security-related issues, while following post orders and communicating professionally with employees and guests.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
