As a Driving Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones, noting and reporting suspicious activity and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor movement, verifying access permissions, and reporting security-related issues according to site procedures.
- Support a professional environment by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and relaying important information during shift changes and/or when directed by Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
