As a Security Officer Visitor Checkpoint in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service while helping to deter incidents through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Monitor entrances and exits, verify visitor, vendor, and/or employee credentials, and help to control authorized access to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
- Document visitor activity, deliveries, and/or unusual incidents, and complete required reports related to access control and other security-related matters.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
