As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Duty in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a driving patrol officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support daily operations with professionalism while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of being agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring, people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policies while helping to support orderly operations at the location.
- Communicate with staff, guests, and/or first responders as needed during incidents, medical situations, or operational disruptions, while following post orders and security-related protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
