What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by greeting patients, visitors, and staff, managing front desk access activities, and following site-specific policies and security-related procedures.
- Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and/or visitor credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized access in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, urgent situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Vaccinations are required for this hospital assignment.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
