In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to guests and staff. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government tourism location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with directions, visitor inquiries, and/or reporting of suspicious behavior or policy violations.
- Support Allied Universal standards by following post orders, reporting maintenance or hazard-related issues, and coordinating with local authorities and/or site representatives when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
