As a Security Officer Patrol Response Agent in Fort Mill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support vehicle, delivery, and contractor traffic in accordance with location policies.
- Assist with monitoring industrial operations surroundings for hazards, equipment issues, and/or policy violations, escalating security-related matters through proper channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
