What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry to sensitive areas within a technology-focused location.
• Document incidents and observations accurately for client and Allied Universal records.
• Collaborate with team members and site personnel to report and address security-related concerns in a professional manner.
• Remain visible and approachable to employees, visitors, and/or contractors, offering assistance as needed.
• Comply with all relevant licensing, training, and equipment standards required for armed posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• Level III armed certification in Texas is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
