What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, and documenting entry in accordance with site guidelines.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with staff, visitors, and/or emergency services when needed.
- Support front desk operations by answering questions, directing foot traffic, monitoring cameras and/or alarm activity, and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions through consistent presence, attentive observation, and thorough incident documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
