As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in High Point, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will contribute to daily operations with a caring, agile approach, working as part of a reliable team that values innovation and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor for security-related concerns such as suspicious behavior, policy violations, potential theft activity, and/or access issues, and report findings according to site procedures.
- Support opening and closing activities, assist with crowd and line monitoring during busy periods, and provide visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptions and/or unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
