Senior Director, AR Transformation

Allied Universal® is hiring a Senior Director, Accounts Receivable Transformation. The Senior Director will be a key leader for the finance team and will report directly to the North America Vice President of Finance with a dotted line into the Global Chief Financial Officer. This talented leader will drive initiatives aimed at reducing our working capital through optimization of accounts receivable strategy, technology enhancements, treasury improvement, and team development. The Senior Director will be responsible for evaluating the Accounts Receivable lifecycle, identifying gaps, recommending modifications, and implementing technology to impact change and deliverables. This position will have a strong bias for both strategy and execution as this individual will be heavily involved in implementation.


  • Evaluate Accounts Receivable lifecycle, identify gaps, recommend modifications, and implement tools and approved changes
  • Partner with IT Department or 3rd party vendors to implement technology enhancements (i.e., automated dunning)
  • Partner with Shared Services to address and mitigate root cause issues (invoicing errors, etc.)
  • Manage remote team members and take necessary steps to upgrade team to world class standard (e.g., develop and implement process improvements, develop team members)
  • Align team to support collections by region and deliver improved results across the country; accountable to provide 10%+ reduction in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
  • Partner with key functions: customers, operators, shared services
  • Analyze Accounts Receivable dataset, silo areas of concern and communicate to stakeholders
  • Create value added weekly dashboard to track progress, both weekly and against quarterly and annual goals
  • Manage software relationships between Accounts Receivable platform (WinTeam) and DOMO
  • Direct Accounts Receivable monthly close working directly with Treasury and Controllers group
  • Create a high energy culture grounded in customer service, positivity, results orientation, and winning by progressing goals every day
  • Work closely with Treasury function to enhance full cycle cash performance


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field of study
  • Demonstrated experience and progression in consulting, business transformation, and / or AR and Cash Management
  • Prior experience implementing process improvement in a service industry
  • Strong financial background in a leading large company
  • Proven track record of business success, achievement, and promotion
  • Strong ability to identify challenges and present solutions for improvements
  • Proven leadership skills which include recruiting and staffing to build a strong team to deliver accurate and timely reporting
  • Highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
  • Must have proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions, and materials in strictest confidence
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
