As a Security Officer Badge Check Patrol in Jersey City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through proper site communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and community activity, assist with visitor and vendor entry procedures, and support property rules and posting requirements as directed by site policies.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance-related concerns, and communicate notable issues to property management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
