As a AirportSecurity Officer - Cargo Patrol in Kailua Kona, HI, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure airport environment by monitoring airport premises, conducting security patrols, and enforcing access control procedures. Position Type: Part Time - Morning/Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• Must also have the ability to pass a federal background check for DOT

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location, including the business and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual occurrences within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or government personnel as required.
• Assist with access control, verifying identification and/or credentials as needed, in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
• Complete detailed written reports and documentation on security-related incidents and daily activities.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal and client personnel to help to maintain a secure environment within the government facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
