As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with access procedures and site information.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary based on established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, site personnel, and local authorities during routine operations and/or emergency response activities.
• Support logistics and distribution operations by maintaining awareness of delivery schedules, vehicle movements, and access requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with X‐Ray screening is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
