Security Officer - Commercial Vehicle Plant

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
- Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with traffic, delivery, and/or contractor activity as directed by site-specific post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
