As a Security Officer College Campus Patrol in Lancaster, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and/or local emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and authorized entry procedures, assist with directions and general information, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
- Support campus operations during special events, classes, and high-traffic periods by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with crowd flow, and following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
