Security Officer Entry Screening
As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a leading tech location, you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and team members, and support access control and other security-related activities with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a dynamic technology location.
- Screen people, bags, packages, and/or materials at designated entry points, document screening activity, and report unusual findings or policy concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, loading areas, and other assigned posts to help to deter unauthorized access, identify potential concerns, and communicate clearly with staff and guests.
- Conduct routine observations of assigned areas and complete required logs, reports, and/or incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
