As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a leading tech location, you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and team members, and support access control and other security-related activities with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and work as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a dynamic technology location.
- Screen people, bags, packages, and/or materials at designated entry points, document screening activity, and report unusual findings or policy concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, loading areas, and other assigned posts to help to deter unauthorized access, identify potential concerns, and communicate clearly with staff and guests.
- Conduct routine observations of assigned areas and complete required logs, reports, and/or incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
