Security Officer - Unarmed Commercial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Commercial Patrol in Los Lunas, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, interact positively with tenants and visitors, and respond to various situations as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any irregularities.
• Assist visitors and tenants by providing information and support as required while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Document and report any unusual occurrences, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal leadership to address security-related concerns and uphold site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Six months or more of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
