As a Unarmed Security Professional - Tech Site in Medley, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control procedures, all while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting security-related needs on site.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols in the technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents and daily activities as needed.
  • Support access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized entry at the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident logs as required by Allied Universal and/or client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
