What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, loading zones, and production spaces.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related activities and communicating with site contacts when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, access control concerns, and/or security-related policy violations.
- Support visitor management and delivery processing by confirming permissions, maintaining required logs, and directing individuals according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
