As a Security Officer Access Screening in Millwood, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or vehicle access in accordance with post orders.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report maintenance and/or access issues.
- Support gatehouse and/or lobby operations by communicating with staff and visitors, providing directions, and maintaining accurate logs, reports, and other required documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
