Financial Transactions Specialist

Allied Universal is looking to hire a Financial Transactions Specialist. This position is responsible for processing payroll, managing payroll discrepancies, and handling invoicing for events. The Financial Transactions Specialist will work closely with and provide support for the client and branch manager by assisting with payments, scheduling, tasks, and special projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Process all payroll on a daily basis and handle payroll discrepancies.
  • Manage missed meals and pay premium hour if needed.
  • Invoice all games and special events.
  • Work with client to assure timely payments.
  • Provide support to branch manager on special projects, tasks, and scheduling.
  • Oversee all game day administration.
  • Update bulletin boards with postings and union rosters.
  • Track union hours, status changes, and other related tasks.

  • High School Diploma or GED, Financial experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, confidence and decision making ability to manage shifting priorities, demands and timeliness using analytical capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team (demonstrates strong relationship-building skills).
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proven ability to sustain a high level of output and productivity.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.

  • Must be highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology.
  • Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion. Must have proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions and materials in strictest confidence. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.

  • Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required.
  • ABI software experience is a plus++
