As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a welcoming environment for all patrons.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter, observing for suspicious activity and reporting any concerns.
• Help to deter theft, vandalism, and other undesirable behaviors through visible patrols and attentive presence within the retail environment.
• Assist with access control, monitor entrances and exits, and verify credentials of individuals as required by site guidelines.
• Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and client protocols, maintaining clear and accurate records.
• Collaborate with retail staff and management to address security-related concerns and support a positive shopping experience for customers.
• Remain alert to environmental and security-related hazards within the retail setting and report any maintenance or facility concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
