Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting them through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, warehouse spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, helping to confirm authorized access and directing individuals according to site procedures.
- Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing package handling areas, reporting damaged property and/or suspicious behavior, and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
