Security Officer Access Monitor
As a Security Officer Access Monitor in Odessa, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing requirements, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries, and document access activity in accordance with location protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gates, and restricted areas to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
- Support security-related procedures within a chemical and petrochemical location by helping to control access to sensitive areas, maintaining accurate logs, and reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
