As a Security Officer - Experience Required in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Greet visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk of the financial institution.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain logs and records of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and other security-related documentation as required.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding security-related concerns or emergencies.
  • Follow emergency response protocols as directed for the location, including notifying authorities when appropriate.
  • Provide customer service by addressing questions or concerns from employees, clients, and visitors.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
