As a Security Officer Access Control in Salisbury, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, credential verification, and/or related emergency response activities at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, docks, and employee entrances.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and documenting security-related activity according to site policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and receiving/shipping zones, with attention to unusual activity and site-specific risks.
- Communicate with employees, visitors, drivers, and management regarding access requirements, directions, and security-related concerns while maintaining professional presence and detailed reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
