What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Perform regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related issues.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a visible presence within the retail environment.
• Carry and responsibly handle an authorized firearm in accordance with site-specific protocols, Allied Universal guidelines, and applicable laws.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement as necessary to support a secure and welcoming environment within the retail setting.
• Participate in site-specific training and ongoing professional development to remain current with policies, procedures, and security-related best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification required for Texas roles only.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
