As a Security Officer - Media Center Patrol - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you'll monitor and patrol key areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication to all visitors and associates. You will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter within a technology or media-focused location, observing for suspicious activity and helping to deter unauthorized individuals.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help maintain order and a secure environment.
• Document and report any incidents, unusual activities, or maintenance issues observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal.
• Collaborate with site staff and/or visitors to provide information or assistance as needed while upholding security-related protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
