As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in San Carlos, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transportation facilities, public access areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entrances, platforms, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help control access, observe activity, and provide directions or assistance to the public when needed.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observed conditions, and support site staff with assigned security-related duties in a government location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
