As a Security Officer - Full Time Residential Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, observe for unauthorized persons and/or policy violations, and document incidents, hazards, and/or property-related issues according to site procedures.
- Support a professional residential environment by communicating clearly with residents and visitors, providing directions and assistance, and following post orders and community rules.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
