Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and mall tenants by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
- Document and report observed incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
