Allied Universal is currently seeking a skilled Billing Analyst to support the National Account Division.


  • Diagnose key problems at large National accounts and use project management skills to correct the existing shortcomings. Establish a process and achieve results by driving change with both internal personnel and the customer. Make the successful process replicable and able to be passed off to the existing account team and move onto the next account requiring help (every 3-6 months)
  • Ensure all administrative functions including payroll, billing, accounts receivable, scheduling are accurate and issues are promptly resolved
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress; track at a detailed invoice level of issues causing payment delays and diligent management of achieving the next step in order to unlock remove the underlying issue by creating invoice level SLA’s
  • Responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading client cash collections from ideation through to completion
  • Work with National Accounts team to monitor client receivables to ensure early problem resolution
  • Work with Shared Services to facilitate customer and job updates
  • Review invoice rejections and liaise with account managers to resolve
  • Analyze invoice adjustments to identify the root cause of issues
  • Leverage tools to quickly identify issues with large data sets
  • Work with clients to resolve issues
  • Cross-trained in both Shared Services and Cash Applications (Treasury) to ensure National Accounts run smoothly from cradle to grave and the candidate can perform those functions for the account if needed
  • Report and escalate to management as needed

Skills and Experience

  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, subtotals, filters, formulas including vlook-ups and sum-ifs); must be very comfortable with large amounts of data
  • Use a Strategic/Consulting mindset to find the right solution that is hindering the process and implement the correct process to achieve success
  • Exceptional customer services skills to ensure a strong relationship with large customers are maintained
  • Demonstrated problem solving, confidence, and decision-making ability to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines using analytical capabilities
  • Optimistic, high energy, and operates with a sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to identify and solve problems and adapt to ongoing challenges
  • Ability to work across cross-function teams
  • Strong analytical, project management, presentation, and follow-through skills
  • Comfortable working within an ERP and leverage a BI tool to source data for the account (AUS uses WinTeam and DOMO)
  • Meticulous attention to detail in evaluating and recommending changes to current processes


  • At least a 4-year Bachelor’s level degree in a financial, project management, or other relevant field
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in process improvement in the billing, shared services, sales operations, or finance functions
  • Prefer experience in a large company or consulting firm
