Are you ready to make a career change and join an Industry Leader that takes pride in the over 200,000 essential workers that have dedicated their career as Security Professionals to help people feel safe.  Allied Universal is committed to our employee’s experience and is hiring a VP/Director of Employee Experience and Culture at our HQW Office in Santa Ana, CA.  The Vice President/Director will lead the strategy development and program execution.  This is an individual contributor role, however, you will work very closely with the global HR field teams on strategy execution.

THE VP/DIRECTOR OF EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE AND CULTURE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Employee Experience and Retention-Create and execute a global employee experience and retention strategy:
  • Successful strategy development and execution will result in Allied Universal being recognized as a global employer of choice that embraces a promote from within culture to identify internal talent, where diversity and inclusion are valued. The overall employee experience, from initial career engagement, onboarding, training, and career advancement will be enhanced resulting in improved employee experience and employee retention. 
  1. Employee Feedback and Engagement Program:
  • Collaborate with Cross Functional Department Leaders in Recruiting, Training, Marketing, Human Resources and the Executive Team to identify global concepts and best practices
  • Leverage technology to get employee feedback across the organization
  • Define and execute reporting metrics to monitor the global performance and improvements
  1. Diversity and Inclusion:
  • Build a robust Diversity and Inclusion program fostering an inclusive culture
  • Provide thought leadership on Diversity and Inclusion

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
  • Master’s degree in Change Management, Organization Development, or Leadership
  • Five to Ten+ Years of experience within a large service related organization leading the development and execution of a comprehensive employee engagement and employee retention strategy where quantifiable improvements were achieved in the area of employee retention and employee satisfaction

OTHER REQUIREMENTS OR COMPETENCIES:

  • Proven experience driving goals, executing projects and problem solving
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clear direction and expectations
  • Thorough understanding of state hiring laws, affirmative action processes and OFCCP/FSLA compliance
  • Experience implementing and leveraging advanced employee engagement technology
  • Possess high personal integrity and have the ability to instill the same in others
  • Positive and upbeat in a team environment – a motivator
  • Creative and self-motivated – continually seek ways to improve self and company
  • Develops programs to allow the organization to embrace applicants and employees of all backgrounds and to permit the full development and performance of all employees
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
