The Infrastructure Integration Manager will be responsible for leading all technical aspects of the merger and acquisition lifecycle.  The position will be responsible for identifying opportunities to integrate hardware and software applications, data centers, networks, mobile devices, wireline and more into the current enterprise standard or utilize the new solutions to create new standards.

This position will be a part of the Infrastructure team which supports networking, server virtualization, telecommunications, and all other aspects of hardware and software. The Infrastructure Integration Manager must be able to manage priorities to ensure that the final integration solutions are stable, meet all security guidelines, and operate in an optimal fashion. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills. The ability to communicate via email and phone as well as the ability to work and problem solve independently are critical.

Responsibilities

Job Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Support buy-side diligence and leads technology initiatives developed by the Corporate Strategy team.
  • Lead small, medium and large cross-functional teams through due diligence, budget planning, integration planning and integration execution.
  • Engage in vendor negotiations to merge or cancel IT contracts for hardware, software, or services.
  • Develop and continuously improve IT play books for M&A integration from a Go-To-Market perspective to be used by integration management project teams for existing and new integration projects.
  • Research network and systems products, services, protocols, and standards to remain current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Capture knowledge from existing integration professionals through observation and interviews.
  • Design and perform server and security audits to assist in gathering information from integrating companies.
  • Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Work with IT colleagues to maintain inventory of software licenses and hardware assets.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to integration program managers and integration project managers for new integration programs as well as helping to solve existing program challenges Manage desktop protection utilities and provide an immediate response to outbreaks and new security updates.
  • Work across work streams to capture the typical M&A integration dependencies for IT systems.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or certification required.
  • 5 years of experience in a corporate development or M&A integration function in the technology industry.
  • Multiple years of process development and documentation for business processes.
  • Experience in working on complex, cross-functional, and time-sensitive projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly interfacing with senior professionals; highly collaborative.
  • Relevant hardware, software, and basic networking Industry Experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • IT system design and documentation experience is desired.
  • Business process transformation experience is desired.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
