Allied Universal is hiring a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (International) that will play a key role as a strategic business partner in charge of the annual planning process, quarterly forecasting, and monthly/weekly management reporting and analysis for the International Regions/Countries.

The Vice President will be based out of the Corporate West office in Santa Ana, CA. The VP will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and the International Regions to deliver the financial targets for the company.

Primary Responsibilities: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Acts as liaison with the Private Equity Sponsors and Board Members
  • Presents analysis and recommendations to the executive team, CEO, CFO, CAO
  • Builds and owns the consolidation model. Consolidates financials across multiple regions and businesses
  • Interacts with divisional controllers to ensure consolidation of financials are accurate
  • Develops world class financial reporting, giving management transparent reporting of results and forecasts
  • Leads the annual planning process for all the countries
  • Establishes and leads the quarterly forecast update process
  • Continues to develop best in class department and processes
  • Provides insightful decision support to drive higher sales and profits
  • Drives cross functional projects to enhance EBITDA
  • Oversees a strong Financial Planning Team (International)

  • Bachelor’s Degree and high level of achievement from a top university is required, MBA is highly preferred
  • Minimum 8-10 years of FP&A experience
  • Minimum 10 years of leading corporate finance, strategy or M&A teams
  • Experience in a global company is a plus
  • Proven track record of business success, achievement, and promotion
  • Must be able to work long hours and ensure a high level of responsiveness throughout the evening and weekend
  • Strong ability to identify risk and present solutions for improvements
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent grasp of Corporate FP&A fundamentals, familiarity with accounting
  • Experience working at a PE backed company is a plus
  • Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
  • Must be highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
  • Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Must have proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions and materials in strictest confidence.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required.
