Security Officer - Distribution Center - Full-Time

As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Driver Full-Time in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate properties, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, where you will conduct routine patrols and respond to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the commercial real estate location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to support access control and report unusual activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures.
• Work collaboratively with property management and tenants to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on patrol, adapting to changing conditions and requirements at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
