Entry Level Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager

Department: Amazon Corporate Security

Location: Seattle, Washington

Employment Type: Full Time

The Project Manager will support and manage projects for Amazon Corporate Security's GSOC. This is a full-time contracted position that is located in the South Lake Union district of Seattle.

The pay range is 60-70K annually.


About the Role:

ACS is seeking an entry level Project Manager to provide support for key projects. The role will primarily focus on the deployment of a Radio over IP system and work with key stakeholders to ensure its success. 

In this role, you will:

  • Manage projects related to the deployment and expansion of ACS’ Radio over IP System
  • Maintain project documentation. Track milestones using applicable software tools
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Align and prioritize projects according to strategic goals
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize deployment locations
  • Coordinate with stakeholders from facilities and property management to secure authorization to install radio systems
  • Coordinate with Corporate Infrastructure and IT Services to secure and maintain an appropriate installation location and network
  • Forecast project expenses, monitors purchase orders, does basic budget projections and cost analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree and/or 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with project development and oversight
  • Excellent oral presentation skills, interpersonal communication and written skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Self-sufficient, self-starter with proven success taking ownership and managing projects
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and programs to include Word, Excel, Outlook


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 2-3 years’ experience with project management
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret workflow processes and policies and make sound judgments based on those interpretations
  • Experience and knowledge of critical communication systems
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment driven by software systems and processes
