Special Project Manager

We are looking for a Special Project Manager to lead our team’s content management strategy, both in support of internal operations and external promotion to stakeholders. This will include the creation of digital content, the development of a cohesive branding strategy, and support for internally focused communications, including written procedures. The individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure our content and communications reflect the scope, expectations and vision of our team.

The Special Project Manager will support Amazon Corporate Security's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). This is a full-time contracted position that is located in the South Lake Union district of Seattle.

Essential Functions

    • Drive the ongoing shape of the team’s global branding strategy
    • Lead the creation of digital content for select programs and campaigns
    • Advise on branding and design layout, to include presentation
    • Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand the scope, branding and vision
    • Conceptualize, design, and edit content that visualizes the team’s vision
    • Assist with mapping educational content within learning management systems
    • Manage milestones of creative projects from conception to completion
    • Create and maintain documentation for internal and external teams
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate processes into clear, concise and structured documentation
    • Assist in managing document approvals and release through document management system


    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • Strong background in digital and web design (HTML, CSS), Content Management System(s), Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop (or another HTML editor)
    • Knowledge of SharePoint design and content editing
    • Strong attention to detail, multitasking, relationship building and ability to work independently
    • Experience managing a large workload while consistently meeting competing deadlines
    • Ability to creatively overhaul and re-design projects or workflows to optimize comprehension
    • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent Communciation skills, including the creation and editing of content
