Security Guard - Utility Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Utility Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attention to detail. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication, while fostering a welcoming environment. This position requires a valid driver's license as part of your regular duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Monitor access points and help to prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the utilities location.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed for incident escalation or resolution.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
