In this people-first role, you will support daily operations through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a welcoming environment for shoppers, guests, and staff.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and assist with crowd management, line control, and closing procedures as directed by site policies.
- Support loss prevention awareness by monitoring for suspicious behavior, reporting potential theft and/or disturbances, and maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
