As a Security Officer Patrol Support in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a reliable approach while contributing to a welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with store personnel, visitors, and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and employee traffic, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
- Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while supporting loss prevention awareness and helping to deter theft, trespassing, and/or unauthorized access.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
