What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
- Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and dispatch personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations by gathering details, relaying information to appropriate personnel, and supporting timely security-related communications.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, including tracking officer status, service requests, and key events throughout the shift.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while supporting access-related activity and observing for conditions that may require follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
