Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a shelter location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support residents, staff, and visitors through strong communication and customer service while bringing our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a shelter location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating observations to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity, assisting with check-in procedures, policy awareness, and authorized access practices in alignment with post orders.
- Support a respectful environment by reporting maintenance issues, behavioral concerns, and/or unusual conditions that could impact daily operations at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
